Our Mission
Our Mission is to advance and strengthen sustainable agriculture and food systems in Nevada while researching and demonstrating best practices that can be replicated in other high desert climates.Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities
- Work Trade Program
- Participants commit to volunteer for one 4-hour shift per week and receive $20 value of vegetables or fruit from the farm per week, along with free admission to DFI on-farm workshops. Priority is given to UNR students. Most work will include harvesting, washing, and packing produce. Must be in good physical health.
- Intermittent Events and Workshops
