Patterson Park - Tree Mulching and Trash Pickup

Saturday, April 8th, 2017 from 9:00am to 11:00am (CT)

About

Austin Parks Foundation and Friends of Patterson Park are pleased to host Servant Church, friends and neighbors on a volunteer work day to provide some TLC to the trees at Patterson Park!

Volunteers will move nutrient-rich mulch to trees and spread it under the tree canopy and the critical root zone of Heritage trees on the western edge of the park, off Cherrywood Rd. We will also do some light trash pick up, as needed.

Had a good group show up. This mountain of mulch is twice the size of our lsst one, so looks like we need a second work day. The kids really got into the swing and we had a nice group from UT. See you in a few weeks, I suspect!
